Can we make spirituality embodied?

Mark talks about his childhood living in a mystic – catholic household much like any religion has a mystic element to it. He then describes the many variables of what ‘spirituality’ could be and, the experiences with that such as meditation, state chasing, spiritual intelligence.

He moves on to talk about the recent movement in the West particularly the UK where people have come away from the churches and are exploring other methods of spiritual practice such as yoga, martial arts and tai chi Impersonation of spiritual roots as a way to relearn or to seek a deeper understanding; pagan, religious, indigenous, ritualist, plant medicine, psychedelics or trance states; all elements of ways we may seek to connect that isn’t maybe our childhood cultural experience.

What is the connect or disconnect with higher states of spiritual practices and more grounded somatic, psychological examples such as shadow-work.
