How to do online workshops – a free Geek Aid workshop
Free Webinar With Mark Walsh And Daniela Welzel
I’m concerned a lot of my colleagues who don’t have any online courses yet are going to be totally screwed financially by this virus thing. Lots of people don’t know how to put their face-to-face work online, and are getting their usual courses cancelled due to exposure fears. This situation can be devastating for anybody being dependent on this income, but happily is relatively easy to start up online even if you’re not especially “techie”.
We are offering a free webinar on how to teach any embodied modality online, to help colleagues to have a smooth transition from personal to online work in the shortest amount of time possible.
You will learn how to set up an online session on Zoom, learn about potential pitfalls and necessary ethics in online embodiment training. There’s a bit of an art to it with a lot of face-to-face skills translating and some new ones to learn to do it skilfully. Because we’ve seen literally hundreds of sessions as part of the three online embodiment conferences we’ve done we’ve got a pretty decent sense of it. We offer some principles, some technical specifics and there will be time for questions as well.
We will cover
● How to work with a website developer or do it yourself
● Zoom, Facebook and Vimeo options
● Streaming virtual classrooms
