Online – Embodied Well-Being with Masa

BUILDING HEALTHIER FOOD AND EXERCISE HABITS

When was the last time you examined your relationship to exercise, food and work/life balance, and truly looked at how your beliefs and habits in these areas shape your overall health and well-being? These are very common areas that most of us spend a lifetime struggling with, on and off, even though we rationally know that a healthy, functionally mobile and well-nutrured body could massively improve the quality of our lives.
If you find yourself wanting to change your habits in these areas, but end up frequently reverting back to old, familiar patterns, then this workshop is for you.

In this 1-day workshop in Brighton we will be exploring the following area:

●  ATTITUDES TOWARDS EXERCISE AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

●  RELATIONSHIP TO FOOD

●  BUILDING SUSTAINABLE HABITS THAT LEAD TO HEALTH

We will address the stories, judgements and beliefs held around these topics through experiential and often sensorial exercises while using the body as our main tool of wisdom.
The day will be focused on building sustainable habits that better match the life we want to live. I will in no way be giving you nutritional and exercise advice, rather you can except to learn more about your beliefs and habits through individual and group work, as well as come out of it with practical tools that will help you build a sustainable food and physical activity routine that you can stick to, enjoy and reap benefits from.

This workshop will run from 17:00 to 19:30 UK time.

About the trainer

Maša Nobilo is a Hatha Yoga, Embodied Yoga Principles, Feldenkrais and Acro Yoga teacher based in Luxembourg. She is a certified Embodied Facilitator that helps people cultivate body awareness and self-knowledge in order to enhance their range of moving, being and relating to others.
Basically, what started out as her own personal movement exploration, turned into an exploration of the body-mind and the psychological implications of movement. Testimonials

“Not the type of course that comes in a folder to collect dust on your desk. I found the content real, accessible, and I was able to put it to practical use immediately.”  – Kathryn Knock, Coach, Norfolk, UK

“These workshops connect your body to your mind and help to complete a soul circuit. Plug yourself in and enjoy more powerful coaching and facilitation.”  – Antony Parry, coach and CTI coach trainer, Chichester UK

“It is nothing else but amazing how much I learned about embodiment in only a day and a half with Mark and Carol in Berlin. Our bodies talk to us. All of the time. They hold the treasures of untold stories for our success and fulfilment. They demonstrate where our minds make up stories of failure and limitations. They, as an integral part of us, are the foundation for connection. Our bodies talk to us. We’d better start and listen to them.”  – Geert Hofman, coach, musician and author, Germany

“My participation enhanced my ability to talk about embodiment work, helped me gain confidence bringing this work to new audiences, and provided a very rich peer group experience that result in professional friendships”  – Charlie Birch – professional dancer, Boulder, USA

“I now do in one session what I used to do in six”  – Coach and coach trainer, Tel Aviv, Israel

“If you’re looking for training that will challenge and provoke you to learn about yourself in profound and surprising ways, then I highly recommend Mark as a trainer. He is funny, provocative, committed and cheeky. Above all, though, he really knows his stuff, and he lives and walks his talk.”  – Aboodi Shabi, Executive Coach and Facilitator, Newfield coach trainer, London UK
