Brighton: Radical Wholeness Workshop – with Philip Shepherd

May 16th 2019
Radical Wholeness Workshop with Philip Shepherd

Join us for a one-day introduction to the work of embodiment expert Philip Shepherd. The author of two internationally acclaimed books, Philip has created a series of practices that uniquely address cultural patterns in our neurology that suppress the body’s intelligence. We grow into these patterns as children, informed by our culture’s belief that the body is a vehicle run by the thinker in the head. This fosters within us a top-down supervision not just of our bodies, but also of our emotions, our relationships and our own thoughts.

If you are watching the body’s experience, you are disconnected from it. Embodiment isn’t about listening to the body, it’s about listening to the world through the body. Radical Wholeness helps you deepen into that experience, and along the way provides you with tools to last a lifetime.

The workshop is experiential (wear clothes that are comfortable to move in) and is suitable for all skill levels.
